Reflecting on her success, Jas said “I was so proud when I won! Winning Apprentice Champion of the Year for the West Midlands 2022 is such a great achievement. I’m really looking forward to the national awards and know the whole team will be cheering me on!”
Wolverhampton based Penny Post Credit Union recruited its first apprentices in 2017. Apprentices have brought a pleasing vibrancy to Penny Post and helped it think ‘younger’. Their enthusiasm, outlook, hard work and positivity are key to Penny Post’s success in recent years and will continue to be an important part of the future.
Matt Goulding, Penny Post CEO said “We are ecstatic to be recognised as a regional winner of this award. As a committed apprentice employer, winning such a prestigious title means a great deal to us. We are wholly committed to invest time and money into young people, including mentoring, training, and development opportunities.”
About the National Apprenticeship Awards
Back for their 19th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards are a fantastic opportunity to highlight business and individual success in apprenticeships. Particularly poignant this year, given the challenges many employers and apprentices have faced during the pandemic. Each online ceremony recognised apprentices that have gone above and beyond to make a difference whilst undertaking their apprenticeship, exceptionally dedicated apprentice employers and individuals who champion apprenticeships and all their benefits.
The National Apprenticeship Awards 2022 saw over 950 entries across 324 towns and cities, and nominations included some household names such as the BBC!
We all are wishing Jas the best of luck in London at the National Apprentice Awards 2022!
