Jas is Apprentice Champion of the Year 2022 for the West Midlands!
The Apprentice Champion of the Year award, sponsored by the Royal Air Force Apprentice Champion of the Year Award is a prestigious award which recognises extraordinary achievements!
The judges were looking for strong passionate apprentices who showcase how they proactively go above and beyond their normal duties and continue to promote apprenticeships as an excellent career route! Helena Ramsden, Wing Commander from the Royal Air Force highlighted how the applications this year were extremely high quality which made the judging process really difficult for the organisers. We’re so proud of Jas for being awarded Apprentice Champion of the Year 2022 for the West Midlands!

Some of the Penny Post team accompanied Jas to the National Apprenticeship Awards at The Crown Plaza, NEC yesterday and were so happy when Jas for was crowned Apprentice Champion of the Year 2022 for the West Midlands! Jas has been a Penny Post team member for over 6 years and has progressed through her apprenticeship, to Customer Service Team Leader and now is our Chief Operations Officer!
Reflecting on the good news, Jas, our Chief Operations Officer said “I was so happy when I found out I was a finalist! The whole team was so pleased for me and have been cheering me on! Winning Apprentice Champion of the Year for the West Midlands 2022 is such a great achievement. I’m really happy and looking forward to the national awards now!”
For the third year running, Penny Post is awarded ‘Highly Commended‘ for the West Midlands Regional Finals in the 2022 National Apprenticeship Awards. What a great achievement! This category celebrates employers who can showcase their commitment, contribution and the success that apprentices have brought to their organisation.
