Posted on Sep 23, 2021Its official! Penny Post is the Best Credit Union South, having won the award in the national Consumer Credit Awards 2021. A massive thank you to every member who took time to vote for us – we couldn’t have done it without you!
On hearing the news, Matt Goulding, Penny Post CEO, said “This is a fabulous achievement and great recognition for the work that the whole team have done over the past 12 months. The Award being voted for entirely by members, makes it even more meaningful.”
Penny Post Chief Operating Officer, Jaspreet Kaur, added “I’m so pleased with this news and proud of our team. Despite working from home since the start of the pandemic, we have not lost a single minute of opening time and have continued to serve and improve our services for our great members.”
The Consumer Credit Awards are 100% voted for by customers, not industrial experts, with the aim to find those financial companies that are most dedicated to putting their customers first. 2021 was a record year for voting in the sixth Consumer Credit Awards, with over 31,000 votes received across 15 categories.
Jacqueline Dewey, Chief Executive of Smart Money People who run the Consumer Credit Awards, said “Congratulations to all the winners in our Consumer Credit Awards 2021. The standard of voting this year has been incredibly high, and all the finalists should be proud of their achievements. Penny Post was nominated in the Best Credit Union South category back in June and were thrilled to make the finals in August. However, we knew it would be a close call when up against Boom Credit Union, Great Western Credit Union and 2020 category winners, Plane Saver Credit Union. All credit unions strive to offer exceptional service to their members, that’s what makes us different!
Members really are at the heart of everything we do at Penny Post, so winning this prestigious award, is a great honour! Once again, a huge thank you to our wonderful members; without them this would not have been possible.
