Awards Success for Penny Post

Penny Post was successful at 2 different Black Country Award Evenings in recent weeks.

At the Ladder for the Black Country Apprenticeship Awards, Penny Post won the Small Business of the Year category. The awards, which are run in association with City of Wolverhampton Council and the Express & Star, shine a light on the importance of apprenticeships in the city and wider Black Country.

We are all so pleased to have been awarded Small Employer of the Year at the 2023 awards, and Helen said “our apprentices are top notch” after collecting our award.

Congratulations to all of this years winners and runners-up and thank you to Busy Bee’s Day Nursery for sponsoring the Small Employer of the Year award!

Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards

In October, Penny Post was shortlisted for the Black Country Chamber Business Awards 2023 for the 4th year running! “We were delighted to be finalists in 2 categories at this year’s BCCC Awards” says Penny Post Group CEO, Matt Goulding.

We were nominated for Small Employer of the Year and our Chief Operating Officer, Jas, was nominated as Young Person of the Year. To be finalists at these prestigious awards is something we are all extremely proud of here at Penny Post, especially with the high quality of applicants.

We are proud to share that Jas was crowned Young Person of the Year and Penny Post was awarded ‘highly commended’ in the Small Employer of the Year category. Read more about Jas’ journey with Penny Post here.
