Another Successful AGM

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting on Sunday 11th April for the financial year ending 30th September 2020.

Once again this was a virtual meeting in accordance with current regulations prohibiting gatherings. Over 70 members joined us from across the UK, including Aberystwyth, Bridport, Fort Augustus, Dagenham, Southampton, Chelmsford and Watford!

Attendees heard from our President, Dave Jones (despite some initial connection gremlins!), our Vice-President, Graham Jones, and our CEO, Matt Goulding, and enjoyed a short Review of the Year video, which can be watched on YouTube by clicking here.

During the meeting, members agreed the dividend proposal, rule change, and elected the Board of Directors. Dividends have now been credited to members’ accounts. Please remember, this dividend refers to the period from 1st October 2019 to 30th September 2020, so does not apply to members for who’ve joined since.

It’s always great to hear feedback from members, including those attending the meeting –

  • “Thank you to all at Penny Post for a great job, well done” Member from Perton
  • “Thank you for all your hard work” Member from Wirral
  • “Thanks for all the help and support over the last year. Very much appreciated when needed.” Member from Crawley
  • “Thank you for the informative and helpful service as always Penny Post team!” Member from Wolverhampton
  • ‘Brilliant service, thanks” Member from Billingham

Congratulations to Mark Holt from Gloucestershire, the lucky winner of the AGM Prize Draw. The draw took place live during the meeting, and Mark was surprised to win a £250 One4All Gift Card. He said, “Lol, such a shock, thank you!” Mark is planning to use the prize to treat his family, but we hope he’s able to stretch to something for himself too!

Those members who attended the full meeting received a small Goody Box by post after the event.

Lovely to receive this email from a member after receiving her package, “Just wanted to say thank you for my goody bag, what a lovely gesture”.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to attend.
