HOW TO APPLY

There are several ways to apply for membership. Complete an online form and we will confirm your status using an online provider for your convenience. Occasionally, we are unable to confirm a status and then may need to request proof of ID and address (as with all financial institutions, we need to hold this information).

Alternatively, you can print off a form and post the completed version to us. You must include proof of your address (the front of your RM pay advice is ideal) and personal identification, such as a photocopy of a passport or driving licence endorsed as a true copy by a RM manager, CWU rep or professional person. All correspondence, particularly if original documents are enclosed, should be sent by a secure method. If finding suitable identification is a problem we can accept an ID reference from a RM manager, CWU rep or professional person, please contact us if you require advice in this area.

Please note that – in line with banks and building societies – your eligible deposits are protected up to a total of £75,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit protection scheme. Any deposits you hold above the £75,000 limit are not covered. For further information please visit www.fscs.org.uk
